How One Association Increased Non-Dues Revenue by 19% and Professional Memberships by 50%
Non-dues revenue is an important ingredient in any association’s financial health. By utilizing YM Careers software and services, the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science took a strategic approach leveraging technology, and smart marketing campaigns to increase non-dues revenue and membership. Learn how your association can adopt the same strategy!
$45k Out of a Single Question
Description: Context allows us to better understand an individual’s motivation so we can provide more relevant engagement. Transactional data does not provide context. This case study will show how context helped this particular association earn a quick $45k off of a single question in their conference registration drive. We’ll look at a couple other examples of associations driving greater attendance to events by finding out what’s important to them BEFORE making the pitch.
Learn from the Best: Non Dues Marketing Strategy with The Florida Bar
In this interview with Terry Hill, you will learn how The Florida Bar continually vets new non dues revenue programs, along with his thoughts on how to make a non dues revenue program successful in general. You may be surprised to hear that once an affinity program is approved through their vetting process they are granted unlimited access to The Florida Bar members. Learn how Terry and his team approve and monitor the communications going out to their members while allowing their sponsors the opportunity to serve as thought leaders and market to their membership base—all while focused on providing value for their members. Terry also shares his thoughts on ways they have continued to serve their members during COVID and have launched programs to address mental health concerns during these challenging times. Terry will explain the difference between working with vendors vs. a true partner and how to spot the difference.
